    Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

    We are looking for a Data Scientist who excels in demand forecasting and pricing optimization. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our supply chain ML models by developing advanced forecasting, predictive analytics and causal AI models while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

    You will work on discovering, defining and delivering outcome based, highly impactful problems in the Fashion & Apparel industry. This will come along with an opportunity to directly drive impact in these areas while working closely with key business stakeholders and external partners. You will be responsible for the success of the product

    What you will do:

    • Own end to end discovery, design, configuration, testing and deployment of ML models.
    • Develop and implement sophisticated demand forecasting models using statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and time-series analysis to solve challenging time series forecasting problems.
    • Fine-tune models for demand sensing/forecasting, anomaly detection, history correction and outlier detection, pricing modeling, explainability of results.
    • Build causal models and decision applications, using causal discovery and decision intelligence architectures on industry-specific data sets and use cases.
    • Demonstrate thorough technical knowledge on feature engineering of massive datasets, effective exploratory data analysis, and model building using industry standard AI/ML models
    • Understand the business reality behind large sets of data and develop meaningful solutions comprising of predictive & prescriptive analytics
    • Implement and operate stable, scalable data flow solutions from production systems into end-user facing applications/reports.
    • Code development/redevelopment planning, provide direct support to DS developers in the execution of fault-tolerant, self-healing and adaptive solutions
    • Ensure a production grade common code base is created for efficient roll-out with highly modular architecture, well designed data abstraction, high configurability and high level of parameterization.

    What you will need:

    • Overall, 4-6 years of data science and data analytics experience
    • Atleast 2+ years experience in Demand Planning, Predictive Analysis, Demand Forecasting, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, New Product Planning, Pricing Optimization.
    • Experience in deploying time series forecasting models in any of the Apparel, Fashion, Footwear or Accessories industries is a strong plus
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
    • Experience in data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of machine learning and statistical modelling techniques in a in a cloud-based environment such as GCP, Azure, Amazon, Databricks
    • Strong proficiency with the design, development, and validation of advanced machine learning or statistical forecasting techniques in Python
    • Strong knowledge regarding various industry standard and state of the art algorithms and models (Deep AR, Transformers, Neural Networks, Tree based algorithms, etc..)
    • Proven success in collaborating across engineering, business, ML, and operational teams, up to and including working with senior level external stakeholders.
    • Demonstrable passion for solving customer problems, with a structured data driven approach while managing various competing initiatives and prioritizing accordingly.
