  • Job Summary:
  • The individual in this role will oversee the assembly, configuration, maintenance, and updating of enduser systems, devices, and other electronic tools assigned for daily tasks. This position requires a deeper understanding of system administration, specifically related to active directory tasks in a largescale corporate environment. The responsibilities also encompass installing, configuring, diagnosing, and resolving issues associated with PCs, laptops, network connectivity within the LAN, as well as managing printers and other peripherals.
  • Job Duties: Desktop Support, Hardware Configuration, Software Installation and Maintenance, User Account Management, Remote Support, Documentation, Backup and Recovery, User Training, Collaboration, Network Connectivity, Security and Compliance.
  • Manage, resolve and update tickets and escalate as needed.
  • Install computer peripherals for users
  • Includes fresh installation, movement, reallocation etc.
  • Conduct diagnostic reviews and produce error reports in order to identify and correct any problems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basic software problems, install updates and upgrades in order to maintain proper functioning.
  • Provide software support from installing basic hardware/software and networking components to meet user needs.
  • Coordinate IT purchasing responsibilities which will include working with vendors, end users and management staff concerning procuring, tracking, documenting and deploying hardware and software.
  • Basic PC Computing training for end users.
  • May have to move various PC's and other PC related equipment as needed for user relocation or new office setup.

Skills:


  • Must have worked on Servicenow ticketing system
  • Proven experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or related roles.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows, Linux and Mac, mobile devices etc.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience providing hands on and remote customer service and support for clients.
  • Prior knowledge of Exchange, Outlook, Virus protection (Crowdstrike, Trellix), LAN/WAN and TCP/IP and related software.
  • Desktop imaging experience for various models. Past experience in building up an imaging server to deploy the OS faster.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (Hardware, Software)
  • Preferred:
  • A+, MCSE, MCP, ITIL, Network+,
  • Familiarity with system management tools
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical staff.
  • PC Software malware remediation and cleanup.
  • Basic TCP/IP Networking concepts.
  • Citrix knowledge and troubleshooting experience (System level installation and troubleshooting experience)
  • Good fundamental understanding of IP Networking and troubleshooting.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and strong verbal / written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both novice computer users and experienced professionals.
  • Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology with certifications. Must have a minimum of 3 + years of related experience in corporate computing environment.
  • Others:
  • Should be flexible working in rotational shifts
