- Commercial Operations: Develop and implement strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets. Conduct market research, analyze trends, and create sales plans to maximize revenue.
- Cashiering & Payment Reconciliation: Oversee all cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Reconcile daily transactions and maintain meticulous financial records.
- Compliance Management: Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and ensure the store adheres to all legal and ethical standards. Implement robust internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and customer service. Foster a positive and productive work environment for your team.
- Expenses Management: Monitor and control store expenses. Identify areas for cost optimization and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Profit & Loss (PnL) Responsibility: Prepare and analyze monthly P&L statements. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance store profitability.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial role within the retail jewellery industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
- In-depth knowledge of jewellery and the Senco Gold & Diamonds brand (a plus).
