- Automate UI and API testing
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java or JavaScript, with a focus on either Selenium or PlayWright or Cypress test framework (Java and JavaScript preferred)
- Collaborate with developers to identify and prioritize test cases for automation
- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline using CI/CD Pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated tests
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
- Design test strategy and Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
- Communicate test results and progress to the team and stakeholders
- Continuously improve the test automation framework and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in software development and testing, with a focus on test automation
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript
- Strong exposure and experience in REST API Testing and automation and exposure to tools like SOAP UI, Postman, Rest Assured or Swagger
- Knowledge of CI CD, DevOps pipeline and containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of any one of the leading cloud service providers - AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience with Cypress or PlayWright test framework is a bonus
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Specialised in both front end & back end testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improve
