They also organize the Retail Jeweller India Awards the mostprestigious and elite event for jewellery retailers as well as theRetail Jeweller India Forum an industry conference featuringexperts speaking for the growth of the retail jewellery business.The company also publishes weekly digital newsletters for India andthe Middle East and the rest of theworld.
    RoleDescription:This is afulltime inoffice role for a Conference Manager & arelooking for females . The Conference Manager will be responsiblefor daytoday tasks associated with organizing conferences and eventplanning including budgeting and customer servicesuccess.
    KeyResponsibilities:
    Responsible for speaker acquisition awards entries coordination& all communication as the project (conference andawards)timelines.Agenda & topic creation as per the market trends &industry requirements. Adhering to allproject deadlines for speaker & agenda management andcoordination withdifferent stakeholders ofthe conference. Responsible for buildingpool of speakers and awards entries for different conferences& awards. Coordinating withSpeakers & identifying their strength areas &accordingly design their sessionsCommunicating all the required information related to conference& their session to speakersSupporting speakers in their session preparations &schedules for preparations Help in buildingrapport with the speaker so that we can leverage the relation forother initiatives Coordination withdifferent stakeholders to promote the conference &speakers.Candidate Requirements/KeyAbilities: Excellent communicationskills Indepth knowledge of Retail andTechnology conferences Prior experience inRetail Function would be preferable.Pleasing personality with approach to engagingconversation Highly organized with attentionto detail and maintaining timelines and priorities oneveryproject. Abilityto multitask and meet deadlines and willing to extend the workinghour if required byproject. Strong inoperations. Demonstrate initiative and acan do approach. Email etiquette andKnowledge of MS Office Excel Word Powerpoint Google Sheets isessentials Work in close collaboration withthe other team members and report to General ManagerEvents Comfortable with calling andcoordinating for callschedules.

    Qualifications:
    • ConferenceManagement and Conference and Awards Organizationskills
    • Experience in event planning andbudgeting
    • Customer service and customer successexperience
    • Excellent communication andorganizational skills
    • Ability to workindependently and as a team player
    • MBA degreein Event Management Marketing Communications or relatedfield

    • WorkExperience in Conferences Management for 4 to 8 years.
    • Salary will be as per industrystandards.
    • Office location is Phoenix ParagonPlaza Phoenix Marketcity Mall Kurla WestMumbai
    • Office hours 10.30 am to 6.30pm and5days week. Saturday and Sunday holidays.
