Logistics Coordinator for Sourcing & Operative Procurement function (based in Gurgaon, India)

Are you the enthusiastic, self-driven and result-oriented professional who wants to move our customer's performance forward?

We are looking for "Logistics Coordinator" to be based in Gurgaon, India. This position reports to "Manager, Sourcing & Operative Procurement".. To excel in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of Logistics management, Exim documentations & Local taxations.

You will have steering transformation and development of supply chain through the implementation of supply chain processes & tools, sustainable practices, and support transfer pricing activities along with area logistics coordination.

We expect from you precision and care in daily activities as well as self-initiative and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

In this position, you will be required to:

Organize transportation activities from point of origin to delivery, managing transportation movements, and arranging for services, as per customer requirement.

Prepare total cost for inland transportation for delivery of items to the customer. Select and recommend service provider(s) based on offer evaluation, price comparisons and negotiations. Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule. Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low. Ensure the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.

Arrange logistics solutions; coordinate assignments with forwarders, define the most appropriate means of transport, prepare export / import (Domestic & Overseas) shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Challan and E-way Bill) for dispatch and handle customs declarations.

Prepare and manage transit documentations like invoices, Delivery challan & E-way bill for Domestic dispatches. Networking with Global logistic teams & Logistic service providers. Knowledge upgradation for changes in Local taxations, foreign trade policies, EXIM, and Customs regulation. To be able to Liaise with the government officials, CHAs on statutory requirements.

Understanding about handling logistics claims (scope, insurance, negotiation etc.) Encourage & promote cost-effective and safe logistics solutions, which also support the company's goals towards reduction of Carbon emissions goals.

Prepare Purchase order for Logistics supplier and submit the invoices to Finance for payment weekly basis. Maintain Contractual base Purchasing. Adhering to Valmet's HSE, Values, Sustainability and Code of Conduct.

To succeed this role, you will need:4-7 years of minimum experience in relevant field Hands on experience of MS Office Domestic and Global logistics experience on exports and imports Thorough "Must have" knowledge of legal and tax requirements

pertaining to local logistics, GST, exports, cross-trade shipping, incoterms, product HS codes, etc.

Excellent negotiation and influencing skills Good communication and presentation skills Willing to travel
