The Asset Services team is responsible for front to back processing of corporate actions right from Entitlement reconciliation, Payments Processing, and Voluntary Instructions processing, Proxy meetings, Market Claims and Reconciliation for Custody business


The team's workflow is driven by CA events announced in local Singapore market as well as other global markets and payments received.


The role involves an understanding of the entire lifecycle of CA events and the impact of various tax rules on payments to clients.

One key element of the role is the building of relationships with key stakeholders viz. agents in various markets & client services team for Custody business etc.

The Corporate Actions team are responsible for announcement, reconciling clients positions for entitlement, dividend payment, sending out booking requests, managing breaks and ensuring that all queries are resolved and responded to on timely basis

Your key responsibilities

  • He/She is responsible for processing and ensuring 100% accuracy on Income/Dividends activity, Calculation & processing of corporate action (cash/Stock) entitlement into Client books
  • Sending SWIFT payment to client
  • Performing Cash & stock reconciliation for the breaks relates to corporate action events
  • Researching and responding to inquiries from internal business groups, depositories, agents, brokers, clients, Investment Managers, sub custodians, and/or custodians.
  • S/He provides the second level training of new specialists.
  • S/He is expected to contribute ideas and recommendations to improve process efficiencies and increase risk mitigation.
  • Additionally, s/he participates in department projects such as system enhancements and off hours testing.
  • Ability to work under stringent timelines and work pressure.
  • S/He must to be able to do multitasking.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience preferably in Corp Actions or Dividends for at least 12 years.
  • S/He must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, deadline driven, highrisk environment.
  • Customer Service orientation is a must with excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Functional proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required along with multitasking skills
