    Job Description :
    We are looking for a Sr.

    Data Governance Engineer to build capabilities and features around the IDQ/EDC/Axon/Data Marketplace/ CDGC for Data Quality and Data Governance use cases.


    Responsibilities :

    • Experience on Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Quality tools like Informatica IDQ/EDC/Axon , data warehousing technology and RDBMS
    • Develop CDGC program and DGP tool metrics, KPIs, assessments, data visualizations, and reports (e.g., metrics and dashboards to show progress, impacts to data, data quality metrics, progress towards business objectives
    • Develop DGP workflows and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) (e.g., change mgmt., issue tracking, submission, and approval workflows, connecting downstream systems etc.).
    • Help define policies to build DQ rules in DG tools and use them in DQ tool and also integrate with DQ rules built in DQ tool with DG tools for Scorecards & dashboards.
    • Create the EDC/ CDGC Resources for metadata extraction, data profiling, business terms association, attribute management, data domains and DQ rules.
    • Create/populate/stitch data lineage and linkage between the technical and business metadata, onboarding of technical and business metadata into the Informatica EDC/ CDGC and Axon
    • Good experience on Axon agent integration with Informatica Data Quality
    • Build and configure the standard and local DQ rules to create more trust on the data assets.
    • Provide support, training to the end users and data stewards to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Informatica Axon and EDC/ CDGC
    • Good to have experience on IDMC architecture and Data Profiling, Data Quality, Data Integration and DG & DC micro services.
    • Build and configure data governance workflows, policies, and standards in Informatica Axon
    • Build and configure data stewardship roles, responsibilities, and processes.
    • Build and configure data lineage information to enable endtoend traceability and impact analysis.
    • Continuously update and enrich the data catalog with new data assets and changes in existing assets.
    • Good Knowledge in Informatica Data Quality GRC Informatica Dev Platform SDK
    • Work closely with crossfunctional teams, such as data architects, data engineers, and business analysts, to integrate Informatica Axon and EDC with other data management systems.
    • Collaborate with data integration teams to establish automated data ingestion and metadata extraction processes.
    • Collaborating with various business and technical teams to capture requirements and design, configure, document, and develop objects, rules, and reference data tables.
    • Basic Understanding of programming languages like Python and Java
    • Responsible to manage tasks independently and take ownership to complete them.
    • Understand the current data state processes business rules, data rules, reports and monitor the process day to day, propose the changes for process improvements.
    • Act as Technical SME for the Data Governance/Catalog in scope and provide insights to design for the plan/build team/ review design/approvals on test cases and guide in production schedules.
    • Support the development life cycle and document all the steps.
    • Good leadership skills including knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, mentoring and training the teams
    • Strong work ethic with a highly positive, handson, cando attitude, and flexible team player

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelors in engineering, Science or equivalent.
    • 10+ years of relevant Data management project implementation experience.
    • 5+ years of hands on Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog 10.5, Informatica Axon 7.2, Informatica Data Quality 10.5 configuration experience
    • Certifications in any DG tool like Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.
    - knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting

    • Compliance Knowledge : Understanding of data privacy laws like GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOX, Inform Act, etc.
    • Cloud Platforms : Experience with cloudbased data storage like AWS, Azure, or GCP is beneficial.
    • Strong work experience on data profiling, scorecards, metadata management and business glossaries
