Roles & Responsibilities:

Mechanical engineer with 69 years of experience in NX in Team center platform especially from Heavy Engineering or Turbomachinery domain
Expertise in 3D modeling,
Sheet metal, assembly, drawing creation, BOM is must
Expertise in sheet metal design with the consideration of fit, form and functionality is essential.
Experience in material selection, component selection as per industrial standards (DIN, IEC etc.) and EHS requirements is an advantage.
Experience in welding, large assembly, fasteners is essential
Experience in electrical routing and surface modeling is added advantage
Experience in manufacturing industry, exposure to maintenance and service requirements is added advantage
Very good communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential.

Desired Skills:

This position requires you to work with areas such as structural calculations (FEA), both
extreme and fatigue of large castings (cast iron), forged components, primarily steel and aluminum structures using FEA and analytical methods according to Eurocode, certified guidelines, etc.

Delivering the FEA results with full ownership & high quality to the respective FEA leads in the team.

You will be a part of a
high performing team where you together with them will ensure that needed updates are implemented in
design basis and design tools

You will be part of
write, create, and deliver certification packages.

Preferred Skills

Graduate/Post Graduate in Mechanical engineering (~
Total experience : 28 years):
At least 2 years of relevant experience(e.g. Turbo machinery or Heavy Machinery)
Prior experience in the software "Ansys" ( Classic & Workbench) is preferred

Experience in developing structural design for mechanical components:

Knowledge about the structural design of large castings, welded structures and forged components
:

- _ Good understanding of HCF/LCF and fracture mechanics_
- _ Experience In analytical calculations of bolted/welded constructions_
- _ Experience in definition of contacts, Nonlinear analysis, Buckling Analysis etc.,_

Expertise in Ansys APDL
