Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Security Architect specializing in cloud technologies to join our dynamic team. The Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions for our cloud-based infrastructure.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud security principles, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and security of our cloud environment.


Job Responsibilities:
>Conduct risk assessments and security architecture reviews, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigating controls.

> Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes

> Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies in the cloud computing space, evaluating new tools and techniques to enhance our security posture.

> Define and enforce security policies and procedures for cloud deployments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

> Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security best practices and procedures, delivering training sessions and workshops as needed.


Qualifications:
> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

> 8+ years of experience in a security architect role, with a focus on cloud security.

> Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, with experience working with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

> Proficiency in designing and implementing security controls for cloud-based systems, including knowledge of relevant tools and technologies.

> Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CSA, and GDPR.

> Experience with scripting and automation using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

> Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

> Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or equivalent are highly desirable.

> Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to security challenges.
