About the Role:

The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (Edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design). We are looking for a businessoriented engineer who loves to solve business problems through code optimization.

The charter for this role will include:

Timely delivery of part/sub-part of a ticket
Conduct regular production code quality checks through coordination with relevant stakeholders
Interacting with Product Managers to ensure business objectives are achieved
Mentoring SDE-Is and supporting development of their career track.
Work closely with senior engineers for refining the design and implementation.
Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments through sprint planning
Assist directly and indirectly in the continual hiring and development of technical talent.

Ideal Persona:

5-8 years of experience in an engineering role

Essential skills required are Java, Springboot, MySQL, PostgreSQL & Kotlin Backend Technologies.

Good to have experience in ,

Experience with an early-stage start-up or been part of project teams of less than 100 engineers

Everyone at Leap is entrepreneurial, moves fast, and operates with extreme ownership.
