    Job Description:


    As a Design Ops Lead, you will lead the optimization of design operations and drive efficiency within our dynamic design organisation.


    Responsibilities:

    Process Optimization:
    Develop and refine design processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality across teams.

    Tool and Resource Management:
    Evaluate, implement, and manage design tools and resources to support the needs of the design team.

    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and alignment between design and other departments to drive project success and innovation.

    Quality Assurance:
    Establish and enforce design standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.

    Training and Development:
    Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of the design team.

    Performance Monitoring:
    Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement to drive operational excellence.

    Strategic Planning:
    Collaborate with leadership to align design operations with business objectives and long-term strategy.

    Risk Management:
    Identify potential risks and challenges in design projects and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.

    Budget Management:
    Assist in budget planning and management related to design operations, including resource allocation and tool licensing.

    Continuous Improvement:
    Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the design team, fostering innovation and learning from successes and failures.


    Key qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Design, Business, or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of design processes, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in design tools and software, project management tools, and collaboration platforms.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
