    Description

    Job Title : Database Administrator (DBA)

    Primary Competency : OFSAA - Technical

    Secondary Competency : Technical Consultant - Others

    Educational Qualification : MCA

    Role Description :

    - We are seeking experienced Database Administrators (DBAs) to join our team.

    - The successful candidates will be responsible for the efficient and secure operation of our databases, primarily focusing on OFSAA

    Technical, along with secondary technical consultancy responsibilities.

    - The role requires a strong educational background in computer applications (MCA) and expertise in database management.

    Key Responsibilities :

    - Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor database performance metrics and optimize queries and configurations for enhanced efficiency.

    Backup and Recovery :

    Implement and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize the risk of data loss.

    Security Management :

    Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.

    Patch Management :

    Manage database patches and upgrades to ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and feature enhancements.

    Capacity Planning :

    Forecast future database growth and plan for adequate storage and resources to support business needs.

    Troubleshooting :

    Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions to business operations.

    Database Design and Modeling :

    Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database schemas and data models.

    Certifications :

    Oracle certifications such as OCA (Oracle Certified Associate) and OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) are desirable.
