JOB TITLE :
PLANT HEAD AT SOLDER MANUFACTURING UNIT.
EXPERIENCE :
2-3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE SOLDER MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY.
Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Provide strong leadership to the plant team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Set clear goals and objectives, and inspire the team to achieve them.
Operations Management:
Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, quality control, maintenance, and logistics. Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Develop and manage the plant budget, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Implement measures to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance, productivity, and competitiveness. Implement best practices, lean manufacturing principles, and process optimization techniques to streamline operations and maximize output.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. Implement measures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Supplier and Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and services. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, including senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partners. Communicate regularly on plant performance, project updates, and strategic initiatives.
Talent Development:
Develop and mentor plant staff, providing guidance, training, and support to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
Identify talent gaps and implement strategies to recruit, retain, and develop top talent.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and innovation.
Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Sound financial acumen and budget management skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems and other manufacturing software tools.
