We are currently seeking an motivated and experienced Academic Counselor to join our team. As an Academic Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping students make informed decisions about their education and career paths.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students, assisting them in making the right choices in their academic pursuits. Your extensive knowledge of the education industry and career options will enable you to effectively counsel students on various courses and degree programs offered by Excelr Edtech. You will work closely with students, understanding their individual interests, strengths, and goals, and provide personalized advice to help them make well-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with prospective students to understand their educational background, interests, and aspirations
Assess individual needs and provide guidance on suitable courses and programs that align with the students' goals
Stay up to date with the latest trends in online education and e-learning technologies to provide accurate and relevant information to students
Build and maintain strong relationships with students, ensuring their queries and concerns are addressed promptly and accurately
Collaborate with the admissions team to facilitate the enrollment process for prospective students
Conduct follow-up sessions with students to ensure their satisfaction and progress in their chosen courses
Assist in organizing and conducting webinars, workshops, and other events to promote Excelr Edtech's programs to prospective students

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
Prior experience in academic counseling, preferably in the e-learning industry
Strong understanding of different courses and programs offered by online education providers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with students
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with CRM software and online educational platforms is a plus
