    Description

    Overview

    Blue Yonder is seeking a Communications Specialist to own the design, development and dissemination of bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc internal newsletters and field communications for the marketing organization.

    The Communications Specialist will be responsible for curating content in a timely and transparent manner across the marketing team, ensuring a high level of quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

    Scope

    • Working cross-functionally with the field marketing, business development and product marketing teams to manage and execute internal communications, with a focus on newsletters and campaign/event-related internal communications
    • The role scope is global with a focus on the marketing function

    What you will do

    • Compile newsletter content from various internal stakeholders and SMEs
    • Design and layout content and images both aesthetically and functionally to optimize presentation and reader engagement
    • Proofread and copy-edit content as needed
    • Write newsletter section summaries and intros
    • Adhere to and manage ongoing internal deadlines
    • Work with graphic design resources on image/infographic development as needed
    • Publish newsletters in Publicate or other relevant tools as needed
    • Provide recommendations for format, content and process improvement based on analysis of engagement and information captured in various communications

    What we are looking for:

    • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in marketing communications that include newsletter development and newsletter workflow management
    • Basic knowledge of marketing activities and internal communication strategies
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to interact with a range of personalities and establish effective relationships across corporate regional and global teams
    • Demonstrate ability to communicate/interact effectively using English language both verbally and in written form
    • Strong proofreading, editing and writing skills
    • Experience using Wrike or similar project management tool
    • Hands-on experience publishing in Publicate newsletter platform or similar
    • Hands-on experience working with SharePoint preferred
    • B2B and/or a technology / SaaS experience strongly preferred
