- Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including timely filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy of tax calculations, and adherence to tax laws and regulations.
- Oversee the Goods and Services Tax (GST) process, including GST registration, invoicing compliance, filing of GST returns, and handling of GST audits.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, identifying and addressing any areas of non-compliance.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to support tax planning initiatives and resolve any tax-related issues.
- Manage the accounts receivable (AR) process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Supervise the accounts payable (AP) process, including vendor payments, expense management, and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records related to tax, AR, and AP functions, maintaining proper documentation and records retention.
- Analyze AR and AP aging reports, identify delinquent accounts or overdue payments, and implement strategies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Legal, to address any tax or compliance-related issues and support business initiatives.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, GST guidelines, and accounting standards, providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders as with 2-3 years of experience in finance roles with a focus on tax, compliance, GST, AR, and AP functions.
