Water Softener Plant Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on water softening equipment, including cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor water softening systems and equipment to identify and address any issues or malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new water softener plants as needed.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in water treatment technology.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certification in water treatment or related field.
- Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of water softener plants or similar industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to water treatment facilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
