    Description

    Business Analyst Opportunity at New Jersey

    We are looking for a driven Business Analyst with solid technical abilities to join our team based in New Jersey.

    About the Role:

    • Partner with stakeholders to grasp business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Gather, record, and assess business requirements clearly and succinctly.
    • Translate business needs into technical specifications for developers and IT teams.
    • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate applications meet business needs.
    • Identify and document areas for process enhancement.
    • Construct and update business process models and user stories.
    • Stay informed on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
    • Effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences.

    Technical Skills (Required):

    • Proficiency in database querying languages (e.g., SQL).
    • Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Familiarity with common development tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
    • Basic knowledge of programming concepts (an advantage).

    Business Analysis Skills (Required):

    • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Aptitude to document requirements clearly and concisely.
    • Experience in user interviews and workshops.
    • Proficiency in creating user stories and business process models.
