In this crucial role, you will be responsible for executing end-to-end bookkeeping functions and ensuring strict compliance with Indian financial reporting regulations.

Key Deliverables:
Financial Reporting and Book-keeping:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with Accounting Standards (AS and Ind AS).
- Facilitate seamless financial transactions and crossbilling activities between multiple entities.
- Ensure accurate recording of intercompany transactions, collaborating with stakeholders for transparent and optimized crossentity billing processes.
- Maintain MEC checklist and ensure all monthly closing accounting entries are updated. Assisting in overall improvement of accounting function, daily activities and management reporting structures.
- Foster cohesive interaction with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless financial operations and regulatory compliance across diverse entities.
- Handson experience with sector, centre level P&L, monthly MIS reporting exposure.
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure meticulous compliance with Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations.
- Adept in GST compliance w.r.t. RCM, reversal of blocked credits, and ITC reconciliation with books.
- Manage Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance, including accurate deduction, filing, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with AP and AR teams for proper GST reporting.
Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations to ensure precision and completeness.
- Investigate and rectify any discrepancies promptly.
Internal Controls:
- Implement and monitor internal control procedures aligned with Indian GAAP.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency.
Audit Coordination:
- Facilitate internal and statutory financial audits, providing necessary documentation and insights to auditors.
- Experience with handling Internal Financial Controls, Internal Audit compliance preferred but not mandatory.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated experience (45 years) in accounting roles with a focus on accounting standards in India and relevant and regulations. (Startup experience preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho books preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced startup environment.
