Global operations - Commercial Manager

The opportunity

Your key responsibilities

Manage Commercial Management CoE for Global Operations working with commercial management lead
Tax
Responsible to incorporate globally agreed policies into contracts; like SOW, Prime Sub agreements including local contracts and compliance of any overarching frame agreement
Manage governance structure and build protocol to manage change process thru contracting lifecycle while mitigating key risks
Manage pricing contracts, contract negotiation with the Pursuit Lead and Engagement Partner. Being part of deal review process to determine commercial viability for large global deals.
Analyse business performance of engagements at practice level, including the profitability, revenue, pricing and cost
Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget
Managing a team of commercial seniors and staff
Develop budget to actuals and forecasts, and financial report across the various workstreams
Produce management and project reports to support Service Management Office in project administration
Build process to govern billing collections and settlement process for both client and EY internal financial systems to facilitate invoice and payment process

Skills and attributes for success

Strong business and commercial acumen
Proven senior commercial expertise in a managed service environment and other complex and sensitive pursuits
EY and/or external
Led the negotiation of significant managed service arrangements
EY and/or external

Capable of leading teams in a complex matrix and unstructured environments with teams geographically distributed
Attention to detail, and able to produce work of consistently highquality under pressure (time & outcomes)
A high level of drive, ability to work independently and deal effectively with ambiguity and change
Ability/credibility to influence key EY and client stakeholders on robust commercial strategies & outcomes personal style, experience and approach
Fluency of best practice managed service commercial arrangements and ability to translate these for EY pursuits

To qualify for the role you must have

Bachelors or master's degree, preferably Commerce or Business Management
Minimum 3 year of practical contract management experience gained in a top tier professional services firm
