Primary Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, lead, and assure continuous control over Digital Health solution implementation on a platformlevel of scale. This includes organizing and facilitating agile activities and ceremonies such as daily standup meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and product backlog refinement.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize features to be implemented in each project release.
  • Contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization.
  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the _Team of Teams_by understanding workflows, identifying potential bottlenecks, and suggesting opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with delivery teams to identify and address risks or impediments to achieving their objectives.
  • Create timelines, milestones, and cadence of increments across the _Team of Teams_; oversee development of reports and analyses to track progress towards goals.
  • Exercise personal influence and forge alignment within & across delivery teams, project stakeholders and management to assure project delivery success.
  • Clearly communicate project issues and proposed mitigations to stakeholders and management with an appropriate level of technical detail.
  • Proactively identify and resolve impediments to delivery team progress.
  • Utilize team feedback and metrics (e.g., quality, delivery, cadence, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and work with team to continuously improve.
  • Coach the team to improve collaboration and selfmanagement, promoting healthy interactions both within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Understand and deliver various documentation deliverables working with peers
  • Take part in requirement writing and gain a strong understanding of the product
  • Use their knowledge to unblock the development team

Basic Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5 plus years experience with agile development ideally as a scrum master or product owner
  • Ability to manage and keep control of multiple software development and integration efforts.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and how to effectively deliver software within the processes and expectations of those systems.

Additional Skills/Preferences

  • Experience developing and/or supporting Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to "live in the gray space" when process and direction does not dictate an ideal course of action and make reasonable, riskbased decisions that keep projects on track.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team building skills.
  • Ability to understand business objectives and select appropriate coursesofaction to reach the desired outcomes.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity, external perspective, and innovation interest
  • Previous experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry and/or environments regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration.
  • Agile, scrum, or project management certification preferred (e.g. CSM, CSP, PMP, SAFe).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience in supervising or leading teams; demonstrated ability to drive and influence peers.
  • Experience using enterprise agile planning tools (e.g. Agility, Planview Leankit/EnterpriseOne, Atlassian Jira Align, Broadcom Rally, Apptio Targetprocess).
