    Description

    Position : SME- iOS/Android/Flutter Mobile Apps

    Location : Pune [Hybrid]

    Experience : 15+ years

    Basic Function :

    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be an experienced mobile application architect and developer with experience of smart home IoT products. SME to provide informed technical guidance in terms of architecture, best practices and technical solution to the technical team of mobile application developers throughout SDLC life cycle.
    • You will be working closely with the global stakeholders namely business users, customers, product and project managers in streamlining the delivering quality products to our end customers. Besides, you will be responsible for offering expert guidance to the stakeholders and business partners as and when required. Apart from your daily responsibilities, you should be able to conduct in-depth analysis/research to identify the root cause of the product issues and solutions to address the same. Moreover, your strong technical background and experience will be beneficial in offering technical support that meets the business needs.
    Specific Responsibilities :
    • Analyzing and drawing detailed technical requirements for new smart home products and making recommendations.
    • Collaborate with business, developers, lead and QA engineers and make sure to get implement what is required by the business.
    • Own the complete mobile app development and interfaces of mobile application for all IoT products.
    • Design, architect and develop framework for Mobile App
    • Ensure the Requirement Document, Design Document and Technical Specification document meet business requirements both functional and non-functional.
    • Perform code reviews of mobile app developers to comply with industry standard coding guidelines, reusable components and ensure no performance issues.
    • Perform development testing and ensure to release without bugs to Quality Assurance team.
    • Work with service development and release engineering to refine the service-specific automated test usage in the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) flow.
    • Comply with standards, procedures, guidelines, priorities, and schedules.
    • Work with global stakeholders on requirement management, estimation, effort tracking, defect tracking and quality metrics.
    • Evaluating business processes and suggesting improvement measures
    • Providing mentorship and technical consultation whenever needed
    • Assessing the Developers during software development processes
    • Explaining relevant technical information to stakeholders
    • Verifying and documenting executed test results
    • Providing feedback/status report on ongoing projects to the Project Manager / Product Manager and other global stakeholders.
    Technical Skills :
    • 15 years+ experience of native iOS & flutter or Android & Flutter app development. Cloud experience will be an advantage.
    • Proven experience as an Individual Contributor role and leading dev teams.
    • Experience developing RESTful micro-service-based applications.
    • In-depth knowledge about MQTT, WiFi, BLE / Bluetooth protocol. Basic knowledge about RS232 & RS 485 Protocol
    • Experience in device flashing, Firmware update process.
    • Objective C, Swift, XCode, Kotlin, Dart, Android Studio and related SDKs
    • In-depth knowledge about MVVM Architecture. Knowledge in Clean Architecture will be an advantage.
    • Experience in developing IoT applications
    • Experience in App performance analyzing tools: Crashlytics / Profiling / Sonar etc.
    • Basic knowledge about Arduino & Raspberry PI processors will be an advantage.
    • Experience with Agile (Scrum or XP), test & behavior driven development, continuous integration, and version control
    • Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software
    • Design Patterns and coding principles
    • Demonstrable experience in developing iOS/android/flutter apps and deploying to Apple stores.
    • Hands-on experience in web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL etc.), using SQL Database such as MS SQL, Azure SQL, Oracle, No-SQL etc.
    • Hands-on experience in utilizing Framework (Core, MVC, Integration and Data)
    • Related DevOps tools experience a plus (e.g. VSTS/Azure DevOps)

    • Well-developed interpersonal skills that can be leveraged in working with team members of different cultures and backgrounds. The ability to work across different teams within engineering and outside engineering to successfully achieve results.
    • Good Communication skills. Uses speaking and writing skills to effectively convey information, express opinions and motivate others to act.
    • Flexible in work timing to support different geographic regions.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Complete knowledge of Business Management, Software Development Cycle, and Core System Configuration
    • Knowledge of the latest developments in the industry

    Educational requirements :
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in in Electronics/Computer Science /Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
    • Master's in Business Administration, Business Management or related field good to have
    • Minimum 12+ years of experience with experience in mobile application architecture, design and development in the role of Subject Matter Expert in the IT industry.
