Position Purpose

The Web Application Hosting squads within IT Middleware Services Tribe works on the technical design, installation, set-up, industrialization, management, support and documentation of the BNP Paribas Fortis Web Application Hosting Infrastructure.

The technology where we will migrate in France is called "IT Cloud" and is IBM based. The goal is to put in place a model of "Infrastructure as a service" (IAAS).

The WebSphere Engineer is responsible for:
Setup & maintenance of lab, development, staging & production platforms running mutualized webhosting setups
Regular supportoftheday, outofhours standby for projects & oncall duties
Handover to Operations & Service Management in all its facets (planning, deployments, testing, industrialization, training)
Troubleshooting & support through all environments, from development to staging to production
Participate in the identification of the root cause of an incident and the elaboration (and the implementation) of a solution and if not possible to perform a workaround
Standard ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
