    Description
    The Position


    The Cloud DevOps Engineering team globally serves our internal Roche customers and IT partners designing, building and operating modern distributed systems on a Public and private Cloud Infrastructure globally (Europe, NALA and APAC).Working with the latest technologies in a fast-paced engineering environment as an Expert Cloud DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for leading technically a Cloud DevOps team and overseeing day-to-day Managed Service of customer environments, including customer service management, managed services operations and consistent product improvement engineering.

    Collaboration with customers, product engineering and operations is critical to success.
    Job responsibilitiesTechnical Expert to lead local team and collaborate with global team on technical decisions/deliverables/priorities.

    Look for continuous improvement activities both in technical, teamwork, collaboration and processes areas. Propose continuous improvement activities.

    Identify and measure team health indicators.


    Consult with leaders and employees to build and produce reports using query and flexible reporting tools that address business needs and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.

    Implement disciplined engineering and operation processes.

    Represent the Cloud Devops Engineering team with respect to stakeholders, customers, and external teams.

    Ensure the Cloud DevOps Engineering focuses on priorities, milestones and deliverables as per direction of the product management team.

    Support the Cloud DevOps Engineering team on technical decisions.

    Work to meet SLAs on customer deployments in a global environment.

    Oversee managed services in a consistent, timely manner.


    Be part of the technical solution team focusing on maintaining services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability and overall system health and improving the reliability of the IT Infrastructure.


    Collaborate with clients, other IT departments and managed service suppliers in the design and delivery of complex Cloud IT Solutions.
