    Role Title: Software Engineering Advisor

    Position Summary:

    Provides expert guidance and leadership on sophisticated Engineering projects. Designs and establishes an integrated enterprise data warehouse and data lake to centralize essential data pertaining to Customers, Providers, Claims, Clients, and Benefits. Develops methods, processes, tools, and analyses to uncover insights and patterns within vast datasets stored in the data warehouse or data mart. Contributes to the creation of a comprehensive enterprise information ecosystem that enhances strategic decision-making capabilities across the organization through analytics and reporting. Demonstrates significant creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceptualizing, planning, and executing initiatives. Leverages deep professional expertise to advise functional leaders, offering valuable thought leadership in Information Management and contributing to broader initiatives requiring a strong understanding of the business landscape. Recognized internally as a subject matter authority.

    Job Description & Responsibilities:

    • Designing and developing customer and support-facing features
    • Assisting other product delivery collaborators in the successful development, testing, and deployment of solutions
    • Contributing to the enhancement of server-side platforms
    • Leveraging user-centered design methodologies to integrate end-user feedback into the development process
    • Owning small-scale projects on occasion and overseeing ongoing project communication (e.g., status updates, alignment of requirements)

    Experience Required:

    • Minimum of 8-10 years of overall experience

    Experience Desired:

    • Proven expertise in web service/API design and implementation

    Primary Skills:

    • Proficiency in Python, Informatica, Power Exchange, SQL plus (Servers, Databases)
    • Database solutioning - Oracle Database (tuning, performance optimization)
    • Experience in web service/API design
    • Working with databases larger than 5 TB

    Additional Skills:

    • Primarily focused on technology and continuously seeks to enhance personal knowledge and skills
    • Comfortable tackling tasks that may sometimes lack clarity, proactively seeking necessary information independently
    • Self-driven individual who does not wait for instructions but actively manages their workload
    • Thrives in a high-performing team environment that encourages mutual accountability for exceptional performance
