    KeyPurpose:

    The Product DevelopmentLead is responsible for leading the design and development functionfor multiple projects / programs across the division. The roleholder oversees the design and development of new parts /components / products and ensures competitiveness and innovation ofproducts processes from performance and design perspective. Therole holder is responsible for ensuring delivery of projects /programs as per the targeted cost quality and delivery timelineswith strong adherence to APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)process.

    Roles &Responsibility:

    1. Develop planand strategy for product development for multiple projects /programs and set direction in alignment to business plan &product development plan

    2. Responsible forresource allocation costing and budgeting activities for theprojects / programs

    3. Review and monitorprojects / programs timelines achievement and milestones at eachdevelopment stage in adherence to Advanced Parts Quality Planning(APQP) process

    4. Develop and implement systemsto ensure parts / components / product performance andquality

    5. Responsible for managing the productdevelopment team
