    We are looking for a 5+ years experienced skilled back-end developer for our prestigious Fortune 100 Financial Services customer whose team is consistently raising the bar for user experience.

    Working behind the scenes, the ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical expertise, insatiable curiosity and an analytical mindset.

    This person should be comfortable working as an independent contributor as well as a team player in the design and development of the customer's websites, applications and layers of infrastructure.

    Experience with Javascript, AWS, Git or MongoDB is quintessential for this role.

    The back-end developer will have an immediate impact on our business success as well as the success of our customer.

    Objectives
    Communicate regularly with stakeholders – PMs, QA teams and other developers regarding the progress on long-term technology road map.
    Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs.

    Developer and oversee testing schedules in the client server environment, addressing various browsers and devices to ensure that content is displayed as intended.

    Produce quality code, raising the bar for team performance and speed.
    Recommend systems solutions by comparing advantage and disadvantages of custom development and purchased alternatives.
    Responsibilities

    Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients.
    Code and unit test, build prototypes, resolve issues, profile and analyze bottlenecks.
    Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
    Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
    Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met and allow for regression testing.
    Skills required
    Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms and web design
    Experienced in backend – services development
    Experienced in SpringBoot, Java, Openshift, Kafka, Oracle, Mongo DB
    Experience in writing highly secure web applications
    Experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies
    Experience in designing RESTful APIs, specifically for Mobile apps( Desirable)
