    Description
    Web Technologies team responsibilities:
    • Installs, configurations, maintenance, upgrades, hardware migrations, patch management, troubleshooting, repair, performance tuning, incident/problem resolution, monitoring, and 24x7 support.
    • Setup deploys, security management, capacity management, backup/restore, and system recovery activities.
    • Supporting infrastructure architecture, application integration projects, setup, and deployments.
    Position overview:
    This role is accountable for implementing and maintaining primarily Liferay technology along with other technologies. It involves automating repeatable processes where feasible and collaborating with the team to design, build, and support a robust system. As a Liferay and web admin, implementing best practices for security and web operations for Liferay applications and other web applications.
    Required Skills:
    • Strong experience in Liferay DXP development and administration.
    • Development frameworks expertise like OSGi, Spring, and Hibernate.
    • Proficiency in frontend technologies such as Angular and Bootstrap.
    • Experience in RESTful/SOAP web services and knowledge of SOA architecture.
    • Knowledge of authentication mechanisms like SAML 2.0 and OAUTH2.0.
    • Working with tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, GitHub, Maven, Docker, etc.
    • Capability to develop architectures with high availability and operational scalability.
    • Securing applications following OWASP and CWE industry standards.
    • Familiarity with waterfall, agile, and test-driven methodologies.
    • Understanding of Continuous Integration/Deployment/Delivery principles and tools.
    • Expertise in modern Integration APIs and virtualization concerns.
    • Ability to communicate complex architectures clearly and precisely.
    • Good understanding of Network layer, OS layer, and backends like Oracle DB and LDAP.
    • Utilizing scripting languages like bash, Groovy, Python, and JavaScript.
    • Responsible for maintaining Liferay portals and Elasticsearch, including enhancements and patching.
    • Reviewing and approving automation code/scripts.
    • Collaborating with Project teams to establish automation pipelines for application environment deployments.
    • Providing Integration architectural design for applications and IT Integration deployments.
    • Offering 3rd level operational support for Integration sites.
    • Interfacing and supporting incident resolution with 1st and 2nd level support teams for all IT problems and high-priority issues related to Integration.
    • Applying technical knowledge and innovative techniques to overcome complex Operations challenges.
