Job Title:
VMC QA & QC Quality Inspector


The VMC QA & QC Quality Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of Vertical Machining Center (VMC) products and components.

This position involves examining, testing, and evaluating VMC parts and assemblies to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.

The Quality Inspector collaborates closely with production teams, engineering, and management to identify and address quality issues, maintain process compliance, and uphold product excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


Inspection and Testing:


  • Conduct thorough visual inspections of VMC parts, components, and assemblies to identify defects, irregularities, and deviations from specifications.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to perform accurate dimensional and functional tests.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, testing procedures, and identified defects.
  • Generate comprehensive inspection reports and documentation that highlight findings, deviations, and recommended corrective actions.

Quality Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with established quality control procedures, standards, and guidelines during all inspection processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to communicate and address any qualityrelated concerns or deviations.

Problem Identification and Resolution:


  • Identify root causes of quality issues and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, inspection processes, and overall efficiency.

Work Environment:


  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and practices to minimize workplace hazards and risks.

Training and Development:


  • Stay updated on industry trends, quality control techniques, and new inspection technologies to enhance personal and team performance.
  • Provide training and guidance to production operators to improve their understanding of quality requirements and standards.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure clear understanding of quality expectations and concerns.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Familiarity with VMC operations, machining processes, and CNC programming is beneficial.
  • Detailoriented mindset with a strong ability to identify and document defects and deviations.
  • Effective problemsolving skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills for documenting inspection results and generating reports.

Education:
Diploma / Bachelor's degree. Technical or vocational training in manufacturing, machining, or quality control is a plus.


Experience: 2 to 3 years as a Quality Inspector, preferably in the field of machining or manufacturing.

₹20, ₹35,000.00 per month
