    Description

    As a Pre-Sales Engineer for our Cyber Security company, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts by providing technical expertise and support to our prospective clients. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, articulate the value proposition of our solutions, and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations. Your deep understanding of cyber security technologies and trends will be essential in helping customers make informed decisions and in ultimately closing deals.

    Responsibilities

    1. Technical Consultation: Engage with prospective clients to understand their cyber security needs and challenges. Provide expert advice and guidance on how our solutions can address their specific requirements.
    2. Solution Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of each prospect. Showcase the capabilities and features of our cyber security offerings to highlight their effectiveness in mitigating threats and protecting assets.
    3. Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Collaborate with clients to design and execute Proof of Concepts that demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of our solutions in their environment. Ensure that PoCs are conducted smoothly and deliver meaningful results that address client concerns.
    4. Technical Proposal Development: Assist the sales team in creating technical proposals and responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs). Provide input on solution architecture, implementation plans, and technical specifications to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
    5. Knowledge Transfer: Keep abreast of the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies. Share your expertise with the sales team through training sessions, knowledge sharing sessions, and documentation to enhance their understanding of our offerings and improve their effectiveness in engaging with clients.
    6. Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within prospective client organizations. Act as a trusted advisor by providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the sales cycle, addressing any technical queries or concerns they may have.
    7. Collaboration with Product Management and R&D: Provide feedback from the field to the product management and research & development teams to inform product enhancements and new feature development. Act as a voice of the customer to ensure that our solutions remain competitive and aligned with market needs.
    8. Follow up with clients, making proposals and technical documents.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree will be added advantage.
    2. Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering role within the cyber security industry.
    3. Deep understanding of cyber security technologies, including but not limited to network security, endpoint security, SIEM, threat intelligence, and cloud security.
    4. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    5. Experience working with enterprise clients and understanding of their business challenges and needs.
    6. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and R&D.
    7. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or relevant vendor-specific certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) are a plus.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
