Opening for Inbound sales cum Accountant with Back office managerial roll for a Full Time Job at VTPL We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, reliable, competent and committed Senior Accountant who can take complete ownership of accounting along with managing Human Resources and Administration for the organization; enable and drive business growth, ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

This job requires Full time working from office.

Immediate joiners with relevant experience in accounting would be preferred.

Work Timings: 9 am to 6 pm, weekly off on Thursday


Responsibilities:


  • As an Accountant (Primary Responsibility):
  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions, both physically and digitally o Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
  • Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
  • Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product.
  • Completes external audit by analysing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
  • Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports.
  • Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
  • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
  • Assisting with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.
  • Preparing central, state, local, and special tax returns, both direct and indirect, professional tax etc. and all applicable taxes, as required
  • Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures
  • Ownership of financial and tax audits representing Finance department
  • Maintain the general ledger, prepare tax returns, assist with audit preparations, and perform other accounting duties as assigned
  • Supplement, track, and be held accountable to all applicable KPIs
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual return filing to CA/CS/ROC/GST/Food License authorities and query resolution by personally meeting respective service providers
  • Managing both Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable and creating required reports and dashboards for reporting purposes
  • Calculation commissions and incentives for affiliates and employees
  • As a Human Resources Manager (Secondary Responsibility):
  • Planning recruitment drives and ensuring onboarding in target sets by the organization by ensuring there is no business loss due to unavailability of resources
  • Maintaining Affiliate documentation, leave balance, In/Out times, onboarding and offboarding formalities for affiliates, employees, freelancers and part time executives etc. as per the organization's requirements
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide counselling on policies and procedures to all stakeholders
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans and ensure smooth offboarding o Develop training and development programs
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Maintain employee records (attendance etc.) according to policy and legal requirements, track and record employee inout timings and process salaries accordingly as per applicable policies
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Drive employee engagement activities
  • Handling Employee engagement activities and employee grievances and ensuring required communication with respective Leaders
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Develop training and development programs
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Handling employee compensation and benefits
  • Addressing workrelated issues of individual employees
  • Develop and deploy organization wide policies and ensure they are in effect in the working environment
  • Involvement in implementation of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning software)
  • Ensure affiliate onboarding processes and manage their contracts and agreements
