Job Summary:


  • Role is of Learning & Development Sales Trainer to work with our sales teams in a focused effort to promote strong sales performance across the business.
  • The role will support the development of knowledgeable bestinclass sales people whose understanding of their industry, product offering and market is part of our competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:


  • Create learning strategy/roadmap for 3 years.
  • Develop, Design and deliver
    _sales/knowledge specific learning and development programs _that meet the business and individual needs specifically in a B2B environment.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership team and shared services to ensure sales learning & development supports individual business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Primarily responsible for implementing the Corporate Training / L&D Strategy across the organization which would include:
  • Detailed training need analysis (TNA);
  • Identifying, acquiring & developing appropriate training materials for imparting Industry, Product and Compliance knowledge;
  • Develops/designs training high quality visuals/program materials in partnership with business partners (e.g., marketing and product leaders) leveraging adult learning theory and a mix of approaches (e.g., online versus in class)
  • Training delivery: effective training delivery by engaging with the audience, be prepared/knowledgeable, facilitates interaction, responds to questions appropriately, partners with expert faculty as needed;
  • Training budget: Managing the training budget for 0% expense growth in partnership with the business, prioritize training requirements keeping in mind the needs of the business and budgetary constraints;
  • Prepare training calendar and communicate the same to all functional heads;
  • Deliver classroom and elearning trainings;
  • Comprehensive evaluation to understand the effectiveness of the learning delivered as part of an ongoing effort to constantly improve our L&D offering.
  • Conduct a cost benefit analysis of training conducted from effectiveness, monetary and time perspective
  • Take initiative and can work independently, multitasks, detail oriented and strong project management skills, collaborate and build relationships and interact effectively with senior leaders.
  • Also responsible for development and delivery of the Induction and ongoing Performance Development of all levels of our sales organization.
  • Proactively collaborate with business partners, internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to ensure content is up todate and accurate for all deliveries
  • Ensure that all training materials are developed in line with agreed formats
  • Develop generic and specialist knowledge building which can be adapted across our APAC market

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 1417 years of related training and/or sales experience.
  • Knowledge of Consultative Sales Techniques and Methodologies.
  • Training experience in both B2B Telesales and Field Sales environments essential.
  • Ability to develop Sales coaching programs and Coaching Skills transfer.
  • Previous experience of curriculum design essential.
  • Should preferably be a certified trainer.
  • Should be selfmotivated, organized and proactive individual with strong communications, interpersonal & presentation skills.
  • Expert level ability in Microsoft tools (especially PowerPoint and Excel), experience with webbased learning tools (e.g., Adobe Connect etc).
