Role Summary

We are seeking to recruit an **CAD Technician/Designer

Piping **to join our CA-Energy team located in Bengaluru office for helping to contribute towards its continuing success.

Working as part of a large engineering group the role requires the ability to use AutoCAD / Autodesk Plant 3D based software packages to prepare detailed engineering piping drawings including PFD's, P&ID's, plot plans and layouts, pipe supports and isometrics in line with the clients requirements.

Responsibilities:

Must be a self

- starter and proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Autodesk Plant 3D, CADWORX.

Must have the ability to develop, layouts, labelling, dimensioning, sheet layout, design details and other appropriate design concepts.
Familiar with the relevant International Standards, and able to learn and understand client's standards and specifications
Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems.
The ability to creates and modify detailed engineering drawings using 2D/3D AutoCAD software packages based on information supplied by engineers and designers.
Create and Draft PFDs, PIDs, work on equipment and piping 3D model development
Develop detail design drawings incorporating vendor 2D and 3D drawings for gas plant projects
Liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate 3D Model design processes and production.
Capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.
Assists with establishing, maintaining and enforcing the use of CAD standards in line with WSP procedures.
Support internal development and continuous improvement activities as required
Competent with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Support on cross region project work with learning & acquiring necessary software skillsets.

Key Competencies/Skills

Mandatory Skills

AutoCAD levels 2 & 3 (2D&3D) or equivalent qualification as a minimum.
Excellent CAD skills, including considerable experience using AutoCAD Software and CADWORX, Bently Auto Plant3D and Navisworks
Handson Experience in Piping Checking Activities

Desired Skills

Autodesk AutoCAD certified user certification would be advantageous.
At least minimum 47 Years proven industry experience in either FEED and/or detailed design on Oil and Gas or powr plant projects.
Work experience on Canadian/USA projects would be advantageous.
