Role :
Platform Architect

Someone coming from payment domain.
Microservices Architecture, Scalability, Security, Java latest version, Security Engineering, Performance Engineering, DevSecOps Engineering, Cloud native engineering, Data Engineering, Automation Engineering.

As Head of Platform Engineering - DFS Road map will manage the following functional areas for all products built from Product Engineering :

a) Cloud Engineering - Products journey towards Cloud native/Containerization

b) Data Engineering - Analytics/Reports/Event Data Pipeline

c) Performance Engineering - Continous Performance

d) DevSecOps

e) Security

f) Automation

g) Database and Application infrastructure components Should have 15-18 years of experience in building products with special focus on Cloud native/Performance Engineering/DevSecOps.

The person should be a seasoned leader with hands on experience in the following :

a) Containerization - K8s/Docker/Openshiftb) Maintainability & Observability of products using CNI

b) Working knowledge of Message Queues - RabbitMQ/Kafka/Redis Streams

c) Good experience in scripting languages - any one mandatory - Java script/nodejs/Python etc

d) Understand Performance Engineering and in the past have had experience of scaling a product ten fold.

e) Performance Engineering fundamentals - APM/Context switch/bandwidth etc

f) Distributed tracing

g) Good knowledge of Relational/NoSQL databases starting from Oracle/Postgresql to Redis/Mongo/Elastic etc

h) CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins

i) Good knowledge of Ansible

j) Security - SAST/DAST/SCA and its associated tools

k) Containerization security

l)Automation via shift left approach

m) Working experience in deployments - Canary/Blue green

n) Working experience in cloud environments for both VM/Containerized workloads
