Minimum 7 years of experience in storage administration and remote infrastructure management
6+ years working experience on managing medium to large storage environment having NetApp/EMC storages with multiple enterprise products

Specific experience in IBM storage devices V7000, XIV-2812, V5000, DS4700 v7200, XIV, DS4700

Good experience in handling storage virtualization and heterogeneous environment.

Very good experiece in managing storage replications using multiple methods and good exposure to DR concepts and execution.

Help L1/L2 team ; Responsible for resolving all technical incidents escalated by the L2 team
Analyze Change Request; review change requests with the client & stake holders; validate the information and execute
High complexity; Critical & Emergency Changes
Very good experience in handling complex storage fabrics with Brocade or Cisco.
Participate in Problem Management review meetings and provide root cause analysis
Ability to handle and drive Incident Review bridges by identifying potential Problems; recommend solutions to be implemented
Responsible for SLA compliance
Should have handled storage migration project (both same vendor and multiple vendors)
Basic knowledge on scripting and automation and should have knowledge of any storage automation product.
Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and clearly within the team and with all the stakeholders Good knowledge on ITIL process
Possess ITIL certification
On call schedule and week end change schedule participation

Carry out all Infrastructure IBM and EMC storage related configuration activities including storage and hosts zoning,
Storage provisioning, copy services and masking,
required storage with the maximum performance.
Design, Install and operate the Network Area Storage (NAS) infrastructure and work on continuous improvement for the performance while ensuring high
standard of security and vulnerabilities remediation.
Configure, maintain and manage continuous data protection for databases and critical systems (EMC Recover point) and support during recovery of those
database and critical systems.
Review the storage platforms and SAN switches software and firmware life cycles review vendors functional and security newsletters and carry out software
Ensure all storage platforms and SAN switches, storage replication and continuous data protection are monitored, logging, alerting and notifications are
enabled/configured along with employing specialized monitoring tools for each storage and SAN connectivity technology (Brocade Network advisor,
IBM STOR2RRD, EMC Viber SRM, etc.) which will give deep insights on the storage and san switches performance and healthiness in order to act proactively
on predictive failures or bugs.

Perform large scale migrations and upgrades during storage technology refreshes and capacity upgrades to provide better storage performance, and connectivity along with storage resources availability.

Participate in storage solutions' upgrade design, architecture reviews, security reviews, capacity planning, and performance trend analysis.

Troubleshoot storage performance, connectivity issues, replication and continuous data protection issues along with providing root cause analysis and provide support to other teams during issues.

Perform on-going tuning, capacity efficiency, cleansing and resources reclamation to ensure that storage resources are being utilized optimally and to ensure the availability of storage resources.

Perform and automate ongoing health checks, capacity utilization trend analysis, and conduct risk assessment exercises for backup solutions to ensure efficiency, availability and smooth functionality.

Continuously ensure Disaster Recovery Readiness, replication functionality and conduct disaster recovery tests to validate the configuration and readiness.

Policies, Processes and Procedures-Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Follow daytoday operations related to own jobs in the IT Infrastructure Management department to ensure continuity of work.

Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB's sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
