Novel Jewels Limited is a newly launched business within the Group which aims to create an aspirational national jewellery brand with a strong regional flavour.

India's gems and jewellery market contributes approximately 7% to the GDP and is expected to reach US$ 70 Billion by 2025.

The jewellery industry in India is largely driven by individual family-owned businesses with very few national brands. Novel Jewels Limited, will invest about Rs crore to build a country-wide network of large format exclusive stores.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently process customer purchases using a cash register or POS system, ensuring correct pricing and handling of coupons or discounts.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions in a precise and secure manner, reconciling any discrepancies and maintaining the cash register's proper cash levels.
Provide accurate information to customers regarding product details, pricing, and promotions.
Upsell to customers at the point of sale using promotions and offers
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring merchandise displays are wellstocked and presentable.
Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, and escalate complex matters to the appropriate supervisor or manager when necessary.
Collaborate with the store team to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process, especially during peak hours and busy periods.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.

Person Profile:

Experience: 7-9 Years, Prior experience as a cashier in a retail or customer service environment is must.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide friendly and helpful customer service.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail to ensure accurate cash handling and pricing.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash registers or pointofsale systems
Strong integrity and honesty in handling cash and sensitive customer information.
