    Function: Assistant Manager

    About the Team - G&PS – HHSS Advisory

    KPMG in India's Health, Human & Social Services (HHSS) practice works with a broad range of government agencies, multilaterals, donors, private sector participants, civil society stakeholders and other social sector organizations to help deliver more efficient, equitable, and effective health, human and social services that create sustainable societies. Our mission is to help governments and non-state actors carry out their core responsibilities to provide for the essential human needs of all citizens, and to ensure better social development outcomes through conceptualization and implementation of innovative and scalable models that create transformative change and measurable impact.

    We are aligned with the development goals of the country and has been involved in several programmes in areas of Water,Sanitation & Hygiene, Solid Waste Management, Women & Child, Housing, Financial & Social Inclusion, Rural Development & Livelihoods, to ensure inclusive growth.

    Core Technical/Professional Capabilities:


    • Expertise in healthcare and life sciences sector, with an in-depth knowledge of the sector, up to date on industry activities, marketplace trends, and leading practices


    • Prior experience in conducting market assessment studies, feasibility assessments, business plan development or reviews, corporate strategy, business strategy, M&A strategy for private healthcare clients in medical devices, pharmaceutical and healthcare delivery segments.


    • Strong understanding and capabilities in using advanced excel and power point.

    Should be able to drive analysis, storyboarding and critical content messaging. Ability to independently look at data and drive inferences.

    Key Performance areas:


    • Supports the Director/ Partner on delivery of designated engagement / project, managing the implementation of the agreed deliverables.


    • Manages day-to-day deliverables of team on client engagements / projects


    • Tracks outputs against Engagement Letter and reports to Director/ Partner on any unforeseen issues arising.


    • Manages engagement/project risk to ensure that the firm's risk policies as well as risk to client confidentiality.


    • Assists in the preparation of proposals/tenders and presentations on request


    • Builds relationships across KPMG service lines to understand broader offerings and seeks opportunities for cross-selling.


    • Training and skilling of team members through sharing of expertise and knowledge an ongoing basis


    • Maintains own development and knowledge in specialized area.

    Required Qualification & Experience


    • Masters or Honor's degree in Healthcare management/ Finance from a Tier I institute


    • 5-7 years of experience in delivering strategy engagements.


    • Prior recent experience in healthcare/ pharma life-science will be preferred


    • Preferred experience at a Big4 or Strategy consulting firms
