    1. TECHNOLOGY and DELIVERY MANAGEMENT

    Staffing, Capability Development, TRR, be the primary accountable person from System Test and drive execution excellence by Working closely with Delivery Managers and global stakeholders. Conceptualization ideas for driving innovation through technology. Provides periodic inputs to COE on trends related to test, growth opportunities, performance metrics etc. Management by Metrics – Establish systems for Collection and analysis of metrics, establish performance capability baselines on productivity, test automation, team competency and devise improvement actions and track them. Build and maintain domain knowledge for the product line for the various product lines with respect to continuous improvement.

    2. STRATEGIC IMPACT

    Actively pursues knowledge of competitive technology options for testing and evaluates the potential to execute in different ways. Use of technology for Simulation, Integration & Test Automation. Uses market and customer knowledge for growth direction & motivates team to generate new ideas towards growth for HGR markets. Responsible for exerting leadership in the domain and influences the team to develop and maintain agile process maturity. Responsible for mapping the LOB strategies into department/product line goals and communicating these strategies effectively across teams. Sustains the innovation culture in the team. Drive cycle time & Productivity Initiatives

    3. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

    People management including goal setting, appraisal, periodic engagement meetings through a set of first level people leaders. Plan and execute actions for people development and career planning flowing from MRR. Hire top-notch talent aligned with business objectives and raise the performance bar. rewarding and motivating talent with clear differentiation for high performance. Develops people and competencies that are required for future growth with specific emphasis on building top talent for key leadership positions in emerging technologies and tracks succession depth aligned with STRAP. Exerts leadership & influence in developing and maintaining Organizational values, systems & culture, process maturity that ensure highest value to the SBU partners & HON customers

    4. COMMUNICATION

    Develops network / Builds relationships with customer and Business team stake holders Participates in forums that are related to technology being worked. Demonstrates effective negotiation skills that result in win-win situations. Communicates linkages of program results to organizational strategies and values.

    · Degree in engineering 12+ years of multidisciplinary programs (Firmware + Hardware +Software) experience. 4 or more years of demonstrated technical leadership experience in coordinating and overseeing entry, experience level professionals.

    · 12-14yrs years of engineering experience in Process Control & Instrumentation, industrial automation

    · Demonstrated leadership experience in coordinating and overseeing entry level to experienced professionals

    · Experience in V&V Testing, can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.

    · Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.

    · Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.

    · Demonstrated mastery experience with design tools appropriate for the field of Instrumentation Engineering

    · Excellent working knowledge on various protocols that are used with Field Instruments like pressure and temperature transmitters. Working experience with HART, PROFIBUS, MODBUS, FF is must and hands on with Honeywell SmartLine series of transmitters is a value add.

    · Excellent knowledge & hands on design and development experience with PLC & SCADA Systems that involves various protocols like MODBUS RTU, MODBUS TCP/IP, HART & PROFIBUS/PROFINET. SCADA & PLC communication over Ethernet with MODBUS TCP/IP protocol. Hands on with Honeywell HC900 and Control Edge PLC and Experion SCADA system is a value add.

    · Excellent knowledge and hands on experience with grounds up product development that involves engineering from multiple disciplines like Electronics, Mechanical, Firmware, Software & Info Development. Knowledge of Honeywell NPI/NPD stage gate process is a value add.

    · Sound knowledge on Electronic Volume correctors and Telemetry solutions in Gas Metering domain. Excellent knowledge of communication technologies like GSM/GPRS, LTE, LTE-CAT M1, NBIoT & 5G in telemetry.

    · Strong inclination knowledge over software development life cycle with hands on experience with grounds up software product development like Meter Data Collection & Management systems in Gas Metering domain, that involves big data management.

    · Should be proficient with deep knowledge in end to end solution of Gas Metering to Head End System.

    · Sound knowledge of Gauging and Loading applications that involves hands on experience with interfacing Servo and Radar Gauges with inventory management systems over wired and wireless mediums.

    · Sound knowledge on Batch controller units that are used for Blending & Additive operations is a must, hands on experience with Honeywell 1010, MSCL, Accuload, Smartload, Danload Batch Controllers is a value add. Integration of the Batch controller systems with PLC and SCADA systems.

    · Strong drive in solving complex problems through innovative strategies involving Test Automation & Simulation, early in the life cycle that support execution and reduction of cycle time.

    · Working knowledge in Product V&V process and test management tools like Jira, JAMA

    · Should be well grounded in engineering concepts with a capability of connecting theoretical aspects with actual products and engineering process/methodologies

    · Responsible for talent development, talent retention, knowledge management, knowledge gap analysis and competency & capability development around focused product line

    · Sets goals and objectives for team members, and provides candid, timely feedback to employees regarding performance.
