- Initiate the first contact with potential leads, understand their requirements, and assess the potential for business opportunities.
- Effectively filter and categorize leads, ensuring that they are directed to the appropriate person within the organization.
- Conduct regular follow-up calls to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Marketing and Growth Manager with a proactive approach to lead management.
- Compile and present weekly reports on lead generation activities and outcomes to the Head of Marketing.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to refine the lead generation process and enhance conversion rates.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Agriplast's offerings, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, preferably within the polyhouse greenhouse manufacturing or high-tech agriculture sector.
- Proven track record of managing and nurturing leads, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively over the phone.
- Organized and methodical, with keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to reporting.
- Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems.
- The discipline to work autonomously in an office environment, without the necessity for fieldwork.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, agriculture, or a related field.
- A collaborative and engaging office environment with no requirement for field work.
