    Description

    Role Description:
    This is a full-time Manager role based out of Grant Thornton's Noida office.

    The Manager will be responsible for managing a team of public policy researchers, consultants, drafting policy intervention strategy, working with Industry Forums and Policy makers in India and Globally.

    The policy domain will include digital and internet-based policy framework, including IT act, DPDP, Competition Act, AI policy framework, Telecom Act, Consumer Act and other relevant areas.

    The role is a balance of policy researcher and policy advocacy expert, with a focus on quality desk research & front ending with policy makers


    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive Policy research and analysis from diverse sources to gather qualitative and quantitative data for effective decisionmaking
    • Build proposals by researching domestic and global policies & precedence and create customized policy papers for our clients
    • Help our clients navigate the complex intersection of government policies and business operations through policy analysis, compliance assessment, impact assessment and process reviews
    • Develop and leverage Statistical models for market estimation and growth projections to ensure transparency of underlying assumptions
    • Contribute to practice building by helping develop point of view and white papers on new policy developments
    • Build highquality policy research reports, ensuring accuracy, relevance while adhering to delivery timelines
    • Developing the necessary charters and identifying the key metrics to track performance postimplementation

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field, MPP/MBA or any equivalent postgraduation discipline in management
    • 510 years of experience in the consulting industry, preferably within digital payments and financial services
    • Should have experience in Policy consulting, and have good understanding of policy formulation, dissemination, and regulatory impact analysis
    • Candidate must have worked or have indepth knowledge on Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Digital Competition Act, 2023 amendment with regards to the Gaming and IT Act 2000, and Payment and Settlement Act, 2007

    Other Requirements with respect to Qualifications & Experience:

    • Policy research and report writing skills
    • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Problemsolving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations
    • Keen interest in technology and its application in the business context
    • Other valuable skills and qualifications include a knowledge of industry trends, fintech regulatory frameworks, experience with payment regulatory authorities, and a creative mindset to develop new solutions and ideas.
