Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Azure Infrastructure Architect, you will directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for SAP on Azure projects that needs to deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of Microsoft Azure. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources and project stakeholders.
Lead solutioning, consulting, architecture and delivery engagements across industry sectors with heavy focus on SAP on Azure
Demonstrate leadership capabilities in Strategy and Architecture on complex SAP on Azure engagements in global environments
Formulate a strategic vision and a tactical roadmap to address client's requirements in conformance with overall corporate objectives

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Overall industry experience of 15+ years
Solid background of Azure Infrastructure Services (compute, storage and network)
Solid architectural knowledge and understanding of best practices for SAP workload deployment in Azure
Ability to lead in a highly collaborative and teamoriented environment from Microsoft Azure perspective
Proven track record in presales, consulting, architecture, solutioning and implementation
Strong experience in identity and access management, encryption and key management principles
Experience in implementing monitoring of Azure services including dashboards, workbooks, alerts, Kusto queries etc. Knowledge of integration with SIEM tools will be advantageous
Experience in backup of VMs and SAP databases using Azure native or thirdparty tools
Experience in Azure Image Management capabilities
Experience in Automation and orchestration with any of the following technologies Azure Resource Manager, Puppet, Chef, Ansible or Terraform
Experience in Azure Governance and Cost Optimization techniques.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with networking principles and technologies (Firewalls, DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies)
Good understanding of Agile, Automation and Azure DevOps
Good understanding of Operating systems other than Windows like SUSE, RHEL etc. and securing them as per various global regulatory controls. Understanding of implementing various security updates will be advantageous.
Research, analyze, recommend and select technical approaches for solving difficult and challenging development and integration problems
Learn and adopt new tools and techniques

AZ-120, AZ 303/304, AZ104
