    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior CMDB Specialist to join our dynamic team.

    As a CMDB Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of our IT infrastructure data.

    The ideal candidate will have a solid background in configuration management principles, strong technical skills, and extensive experience in implementing and maintaining CMDB Design, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to support the organization's IT service management processes.


    • Define and enforce CMDB policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and capture configuration items (CIs) and their relationships within the CMDB.
    • Develop and maintain CMDB integration with other ITSM tools and systems, such as incident management, change management, and asset management.
    • Perform regular audits and reviews of CMDB data to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and errors, and take corrective actions as needed.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior CMDB administrators and other IT staff on CMDBrelated processes and best practices.
    • Implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline CMDB population, data reconciliation, and maintenance tasks.
    • Monitor CMDB performance, availability, and scalability, and implement improvements as necessary to meet the organization's evolving needs.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to configuration management and CMDB solutions.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements and new features for the CMDB platform.
    • Participate in ITILbased service management initiatives and projects, including service transition, service operation, and continual service Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Master's degree preferred.
    • 811 years of proven experience in configuration management, with at least 5 years specifically focused on CMDB implementation and administration.
    • Strong expertise in CMDB platforms such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, or similar enterprisegrade solutions.
    • Proficiency in ITIL framework and its application to configuration management processes.
    • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, technologies, and interdependencies.
    • Handson experience with scripting languages (e.g, PowerShell, Python) for automation and data manipulation.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex CMDB issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
    • Certifications such as ITIL v3/v4 Foundation, CMDB Specialist, or related credentials are highly desirable.
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
