The contribution you willmake:
We are looking for aninnovative and selfmotivated candidate for the role of PrincipalScientist to join our Lead Optimization Biology team. Thesuccessful candidate will lead a team of 35 researchers and providedirection to develop validate in vivo disease models and conduct invivo screening studies related to various therapeuticareas.
You get to collaborateon:
Take a key laboratorybasedrole to ensure the ongoing support of drug discovery programmed byconducting in vivo efficacy mechanistic studies forNCEs.
Establish in vivo disease models validatephysiologically relevant end points ex vivo markers oftranslational relevance.
Carry out resultsinterpretation report preparation and its presentation in timelymanner.
Generate and test new ideas / in vivoPOC studies.
Mentor and train team members forsystems processes and compliance.
Effectivelycoordinate crossfunctional communication to facilitate efficientexecution of studies and datacommunication.
Who will thrive inthis role
Ph.D. in Pharmacologywith 5 8 years of postdoctoral / industry research experience orM.Pharm in Pharmacology with 1012 years of research experience ineither academic or industrial RD setting.
Deepunderstanding in pharmacology pharmacokinetics andphysiology.
Extensive exposure to vivo diseasemodel generation validation and testing.
Fairunderstanding about the drug discovery process.
Significant experience in managing a teameffectively.
Excellent organizationalinterpersonal skills and solution centricapproach.
