Microsoft 365 - SharePoint – Lead Engineer

Dynamics of the Role :

• knowledge and hands-on experience with administration of Microsoft 365:SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online, Microsoft Groups, Purview, Entra (Azure Active Directory), Conditional Access
• knowledge and practical administration of on-prem and SharePoint online: M365, SP2013, SP2016, SP2019
• use of PowerShell – leveraging ability to create scripts for administration, automation of routine tasks, and as required for troubleshooting or other technically complex scenarios
• troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• experience with Power App Platform: Power Automate, PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Pages
• maintain, troubleshoot, and secure all aspects of M365: Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online
• experience integrating 3rd party apps with SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
• with developing SharePoint sites to meet stakeholder requirements for user experience, user interface (UI) design, and functionality
• with InfoPath for workflow remediation
• with HTML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS
• organizational skills and ability to take on multiple assignments
• verbal and written communication skills
• and implement preventative maintenance and performance optimization solutions to meet operational and information security objectives
• the technical design and operational procedures for Microsoft 365 and services within the technology scope of position
• experience for leadership in configuration, implementation, and migration of on-premise and cloud services to Microsoft 365
• operate, and maintain AvePoint for workload migrations as needed
• end-user support for tickets related to M365 and on-premise services as required
• to occasionally work or assign work during nights/weekends during critical incidents per on-call rotation or major project implementations
• knowledge of foundational services supporting M365: Windows Server, networking (DNS, F5, Firewall), server virtualization (VMWare), Splunk (logging)
• a deep technical understanding of all aspects of Microsoft 365

Nice to Have

• Experience managing network environment (firewall, DNS, F5, etc.)
• managing Azure Subscriptions, IAAS, PAAS
• managing Windows 365
• managing Microsoft Viva suite
• configuring 3rd party telephony carriers for Teams Dial-Pad
• experience with AvePoint, Quest and/or BitTitan Migration tools
• understanding of M365 Enterprise license model
• Co-Pilot

What You Will Bring

8+ years' experience within the Microsoft M365 environment with emphasis on SharePoint both from technical aptitude of the service as well as business stakeholders who utilize the tool.
