About the role:_

The Admission Counselor is responsible for facilitating the admission of students into the school.

This role involves providing information, guidance, and support to prospective students and their families, helping them navigate the admissions process and ensuring a seamless transition into the school community.

Job responsibilities:_


  • Student Guidance:_
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families.
  • Offer guidance to prospective students in selecting appropriate courses or programs based on their academic interests and goals.
  • Admissions Process:_
  • Collaborate with the admissions committee to make informed admission decisions.
  • Student Interviews and Outreach:_
  • Conduct interviews or informational sessions with prospective students and their families.
  • Participate in school fairs, open houses, and recruitment events to promote the school and its educational offerings.
  • Relationship Building:_
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians.
  • Address inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service throughout the admissions process.
  • Follow up with prospective students to assess their level of interest and guide them through next steps.
  • Data Management:_
  • Generate reports and statistics related to admissions activities.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Admissions Events:_
  • Assist in planning and executing admissions events, such as open houses, campus tours, and orientation programs.
  • Represent the school at both oncampus and offcampus events to promote enrollment.

Requirements & Skills:_

  • Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in school admissions, counseling, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening.
  • Familiarity with school admission processes and educational programs.
  • Proficiency in using technology for recordkeeping and communication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities.
  • Empathy and a studentcentered approach.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet the unique needs of prospective students and families.
