Job Profile

  • This position is responsible for effective and efficient administration and coordination with all stakeholder's activities and communications in regards of various activities within Project Procurement. Must be able to assist in smooth functioning and on time delivery of all assigned tasks. Able to take ownership of procurement administrator activities within Procurement Function and maintain all databases as necessary.
Responsibilities of the role are

  • Responsible for Vendor Creations & Vendor Data Base Management.
  • Responsible for Purchase Order requisition creation.
  • Responsible for Purchase Order creation.
  • Responsible for Vendor Invoice Reconciliation and Processing.
  • Responsible for Oracle Part Number Creation.
  • Work in Emerson Project management financial / projects tools
  • Oracle, CVDH, others as applicable.
  • Ensure quality and timelines for assigned tasks.
  • Liaison with all stakeholders like Strategic Buyers, Front Sales Office, Project Team.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance to Emerson Record Retention Policy at all times
  • Ensure compliance to Emerson's Ethics Policy at all the times
Skills

  • Competent Procurement administrator / Purchase Order fundamentals.
  • Ability to understand and work on various tools like Oracle, CVDH.
  • Excellent professional written and verbal English skills required, special language skills whenever specified.
  • P2P / Accounts Payable / Supply Chain exposure preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in multicultural virtual environment and lead/coordinate activities for offices located throughout the world
  • Planning and administration skills
