    The Engineering team at Vonage is a fast growing group of talented engineers. They face multiple challenges associated with high performance, distributed systems, and processing large volumes of data in real-time.
    We are looking for Software Engineers to join our dynamic development team.

    As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in building a new generation of intelligence for SMS routing.

    Key Responsibilities
    Design and build systems to enhance features on our SMS intelligent routing platform.
    Develop scalable microservices to support the company's growth trajectory.
    Write efficient, scalable, and well-tested code in Java.
    Work on a public cloud infrastructure, particularly
    AWS.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

    The Stack
    Java with Micronaut

    AWS
    Kubernetes / Docker (Container technologies).
    SQL/ NOSQl

    What you will bring:
    Proficiency in Java and practical understanding of high-performance, distributed computing.
    Strong emphasis on testing and familiarity with Object-Oriented Design and design patterns.
    Experience with multi-threaded architectures, web services, caching, and event-driven pipelines.
    Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and programming languages.
    Experience working with public cloud platforms, preferably
    AWS.
    Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
    Hands-on experience deploying code in modern environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
