    Description

    Position Overview:

    As the Network Data and Voice Infrastructure Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our organization's data and voice network infrastructure. You will lead a team of skilled engineers and technicians to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders across locations to design and implement solutions that meet the company's communication needs and support its strategic objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement strategies for the design, deployment, and maintenance of data and voice network infrastructure to meet the organization's requirements and objectives.

    Lead a team of network engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of network projects and initiatives.

    Manage and maintain all aspects of the company's data and voice network infrastructure, including routers, switches, VoIP systems, and other relevant devices and technologies.

    Identify areas of improvement, guide the team towards process improvements and automation.

    Propose and maintain the budgets within the approved forecast limit.

    Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing issues to minimize downtime and ensure the integrity of data and voice communications.

    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, and design and implement network solutions that support those needs effectively.

    Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data and voice network infrastructure and assess their applicability to the organization's environment.

    Develop and maintain documentation related to network infrastructure configurations, procedures, and standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

    Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for data and voice network infrastructure.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

    Minimum of 8 years of experience in network infrastructure management, with a focus on both data and voice networks.

    Strong technical expertise in networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, SIP, and RTP.

    Experience with voice communication technologies and protocols, such as VoIP, SIP, Unified Communications (UC) solutions, and Contact Center.

    Solid understanding of network principles and best practices, including understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.

    Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

    Experience working in customer facing or similar environments is a plus.
