    Description

    Responsible for design, development for change requests and product customization, debugging and maintenance of software systems related to Mediation.

    What will your job look like?

    • You will be responsible for low level Technical Design, development, modifications, debugging and maintenance of software code and configuration according to specifications.
    • You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes to ensure code/configuration is maintainable, scalable, and supportable.
    • You will investigate issues, provide fixes, review changes for operability, and work within a team collaborating with members and adding value through peer code reviews.
    • You will assume technical accountability for your work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design.
    • You will be encouraged to actively look for innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.

    Bachelor's degree in science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent

    MUST HAVE SKILLS -

    • Strong Experience in Apache Kafka (schema, schema registry, topics, zookeeper, messaging queues, storage, stream processing)
    • Hands On experience with JavaScript, debugging using different JavaScript engines.
    • Expertise of using Linux commands, debugging in server environment, working knowledge of ssh and shell scripting.
    • Understanding of yamls.
    • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker commands, basic troubleshooting knowledge and log analysis.
    • Hands-on experience on certain DevOps tools and lifecycle - Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA, IDE like Eclipse/IntelliJ/VS Code, Confluence.
    • Strong Communication/Interpersonal skills to work in a geographically distributed team and flexibility to work with global customers.

    NICE TO HAVE SKILLS -

    • Knowledge of helm
    • Knowledge or Experience of Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
    • Awareness and use of AI based software development tools like Github Co-pilot for day-to-day tasks.
